Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development (FAITID) has become an organization partner for the 19th RELARN-2012 Conference for regional research and education networks. This year the conference is going to be held in conjunction with the activities of The Electronic Future 2012 International Festival, organized by the Russian Agency for Information Society Development (RAISD).
Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development (FAITID) was founded in 2011 to implement a system of initiatives aimed at expanding the use of Internet in behalf of Russian and international community.

26-27 April 2012 a meeting of business community and government was held at the All-Russian conference named “E-Government 2012. Information Society: Modern Infrastructure and Governance Technology” . infor-media Russia and Russian Agency for Information Society Development organised the event.
FAITID President Alexander Panov and FAITID Board Chairman Dmitry Burkov took part in the event.

Dmitry Burkov, Chairman of the FAITID Board, was re-elected for the third term to the Executive Board of the RIPE NCC.
The elections of the RIPE (Reseaux IP Europeens) NCC Executive Board were held at the RIPE 64 Meeting that took place in Ljubljana 16-20 April 2012. Dmitry Burkov got the majority of votes in the first round of the elections. Thus he will continue to be a RIPE NCC Executive Board Member for the next three years.
